His Death is a National Loss – Tinubu Mourns Emir of Gusau
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Dr. Ibrahim Bello, the Sarkin Katsina and Emir of Gusau, Zamfara State, who died on Friday morning at the age of 71.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described the Emir as a revered traditional ruler whose life was dedicated to the service of his people and country.

“This is a collective loss that extends far beyond his immediate domain,” President Tinubu said, highlighting the late Emir’s exemplary leadership, strong sense of duty, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his subjects.
The President extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Zamfara State, as well as to the family of the late monarch. He prayed for Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for the departed royal father.
Dr. Ibrahim Bello will be remembered for his dignified reign and legacy of peace, service, and integrity.
