Anambra Police Arrest Wanted Robbery Suspect, Recover Ammunition
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a suspected armed robber, Kingsley Eze, 34, who had been on the Command’s wanted list for alleged involvement in multiple armed robbery incidents across the state.
According to the Command, operatives attached to the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, acting on credible intelligence, tracked and apprehended the suspect at midday on 20 September 2025 in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area.

During the arrest, police recovered a Magnum Pump Action gun along with 12 live cartridges from the suspect. He is currently in custody and undergoing intensive interrogation.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the development, adding that the suspect would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
The Command urged members of the public to continue supporting security agencies with timely and credible information to aid efforts in combating crime across Anambra State.
