CP Jimoh Present ₦24m in Cheques to Families of Fallen Police Officers in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has presented cheques worth over ₦24.1 million to the families of 22 police officers who died in active service.
The presentation, which forms part of the Nigeria Police Force’s Group Life Assurance and IGP Family Welfare Schemes, is intended to provide financial relief and sustained support to the dependents of officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

According to SP Abimbola Adebisi, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Command, the gesture reflects the unwavering commitment of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector-General of Police to the welfare and well-being of Police personnel and their families.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, expressed deep appreciation to the IGP for his continuous dedication and thoughtful interventions that restore hope to bereaved families. He noted that such support strengthens the morale of serving officers and reaffirms that their dedication to public safety is valued.
CP Jimoh extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen heroes, urging the beneficiaries to find solace in the noble legacy of their loved ones who died in service to humanity.
