Nigeria, China Sign MOU on Counter-Insurgency
The Federal Republic of Nigeria and Peoples Republic of China has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to offer assistance to the Armed Forces of Nigeria to strengthen its counter insurgency measures.

The Hon Minister of Defence Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali and the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria H.E Dr Ziyou Pingjian signed the MOU on behalf of their countries.
The signing of the MOU was a follow up to the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to China in September 2018 were discussions on infrastructure financing for strategic projects and gratis for the Armed Forces was held with the Chinese President Mr Xi Jinping.
