Pantami, Associates Donate ₦45.2m to Support APC E-Registration Drive in Gombe
A major boost has come for the digital transformation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State as former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, , and his associates donated ₦45.25 million to support the party’s electronic membership registration and broader grassroots activities.
The contribution is targeted at strengthening the APC’s ongoing e-membership registration and revalidation exercise across the state’s 11 local government areas and 114 political wards. The initiative follows the official launch of the digital registration drive by Gombe State Governor, , on January 13, 2026, as part of efforts to modernise party administration through technology.
As a recognised advocate of digital governance, Pantami’s support is viewed by party stakeholders as reinforcing the push for a transparent, data-driven and verifiable membership database that aligns with global best practices in digital identity systems.

The funds were formally presented on January 31, 2026, at the APC State Secretariat in Gombe by a delegation of prominent figures, including Alhaji Ahmad Abubakar Walama, a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Dr. Abubakar Sa’idu Yagi, former Chief Medical Director of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, and a past member of the NITDA Governing Board.
They were received by the APC State Chairman, Mr. Nittel K. Amangal, alongside the State Secretary and all 11 local government party chairmen.
Other members of the delegation included Dr Umar Bello Akko of the Federal University Kashere, Mrs Abigail Abubakar, Alhaji Hassan Ali Pantami (Sintalin Pantami), Hon. Muhammad Buhari Dalhatu, Hon. Maigoro Saleh, Alhaji Isyaku Salihu Dan Makayo, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim, Malam Muhammad Abdullahi, Alhaji Nasiru Ahmad Pantami, and Pantami Social Media Groups under the leadership of Comrade Abba Sani Pantami, among other party stakeholders from across the state, underscoring cross-generational backing for the initiative.
Speaking during the presentation, party leaders expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely support that will deepen the party’s reach at the grassroots level.
According to officials, the funds will facilitate logistics, digital infrastructure deployment, and mobilisation efforts to ensure smooth implementation of the e-registration exercise, particularly in underserved communities.
Political observers see the donation as a strategic alignment between influential stakeholders and the party structure in Gombe, aimed at consolidating APC’s organisational strength and digital capacity ahead of future political cycles.
