Troops Eliminate Scores of Lakurawa Terrorists in Foiled Kebbi Market Attack
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have neutralised several suspected Lakurawa terrorist elements following a failed attempt to attack Dadinkowa community in Kebbi State.
Local intelligence sources disclosed that the armed group attempted to raid a local market in the early hours of Sunday and blocked a major access road into the community to facilitate the operation.

According to the sources, security forces responded swiftly after receiving distress alerts from residents and engaged the attackers in a fierce gun battle. The troops reportedly overpowered the assailants, forcing them to retreat.
Several of the suspected terrorists were neutralised during the exchange of fire, while others fled the scene with suspected gunshot wounds.
The attempted market raid was successfully foiled, averting potential civilian casualties and destruction of property within the community.
Troops have since intensified patrols and clearance operations around Dadinkowa and adjoining areas to track down fleeing elements and reinforce security stability in the area.
