Troops Dismantle IPOB/ESN Enclave in Enugu Forest
Joint troops of Sector 1, including the 82 Division Garrison and 103 Battalion of Operation UDO KA, have successfully carried out an offensive operation against suspected IPOB/ESN elements in Ajali Forest, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

According to security sources, the operation commenced at approximately 10:30 a.m. following actionable intelligence on terrorist activities in the forest. Troops engaged the suspects, forcing them to flee, and subsequently conducted thorough exploitation and clearance of the area.
The operation involved the use of five bulldozers to dismantle potential hideouts, denying the group operational freedom and weakening their enclave. Troops continue to monitor and dominate the general area, ensuring sustained pressure on the irredentist group.
Security officials confirmed that the operation remains ongoing as forces maintain a strong presence in the region to prevent re-establishment of hostile elements.
