Army Arrest 5 as Stray Bullet Kills Girl in Maiduguri
The Operation HADIN KAI has arrested five suspects over the unauthorised discharge of firearms that resulted in the death of a young girl in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on April 4, 2026, in the Ngomari area, where individuals identified as vigilantes attached to an escort team of a local government chairman allegedly fired shots into the air during a wedding celebration at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Teachers Staff Quarters.
