NAF Graduates 114 Air Provost, Legal Personnel to Enhance Discipline, Security Operations
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 114 airmen and airwomen from the Air Provost Special Investigation and other specialised courses, in a move aimed at strengthening discipline, professionalism and security across the Service.
The combined graduation ceremony was held on Friday at the Air Provost Training Centre (APTC) Multipurpose Hall, where the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, Air Vice Marshal AG Kehinde, represented the Chief of the Air Staff as the Guest of Honour.
Speaking at the event, Kehinde described the Air Provost Training Centre as a beacon of excellence, noting that in the six years since its establishment, the institution has consistently produced highly skilled Air Provost and Legal personnel who have contributed significantly to enhancing discipline, security and operational effectiveness within the Nigerian Air Force.

He said the specialised training programme aligns with one of the key pillars of the Chief of the Air Staff’s Command Philosophy, “Deliberate Training and Mission-Oriented Force Development,” which prioritises the development of a highly professional and mission-ready force capable of responding to evolving security challenges.
According to him, the dynamic security environment demands personnel who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, discipline and adaptability in the discharge of their responsibilities.
The Air Officer Commanding urged the graduating personnel to uphold the core values of the Nigerian Air Force, remain accountable in the performance of their duties and ensure the prudent management of Service resources.
He also commended the Air Provost Marshal, the Director of Legal Services, the Commandant of the Air Provost Training Centre, as well as the instructors and support staff, for their dedication and commitment to producing competent personnel.
Kehinde reaffirmed the commitment of the Headquarters Nigerian Air Force to providing the necessary support to sustain the Centre’s training programmes and further strengthen the Service’s human capacity development.
The graduation marks another milestone in the Nigerian Air Force’s efforts to build a disciplined, professional and mission-ready force capable of effectively addressing Nigeria’s evolving security challenges through continuous training and institutional capacity building.
