NYSC, ARMTI Colloborate on Food Security
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme is set to partner the Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI) in order to boost agricultural production and guarantee food security in Nigeria.
This is the outcome of a virtual meeting between the NYSC Management led by the Director-General, Brigadier General Shu’aibu Ibrahim and the Management of ARMTI.

The Executive Director of ARMTI, Dr. Olufemi Oladunni in company of Management Officials of the Institute deliberated on the modalities to be employed for the training of Corps Members and NYSC Agric Officers/Farm Managers in contemporary best practices in the sphere of Agriculture.
Dr. Oladunni explained that ARMTI through this partnership would accelerate food production in the Country through the use of NYSC Farms located in different parts of the country as demonstration farms, for practical training of host Communities, as well as relevant institutions.
The meeting had in attendance the Director, Ventures Management, Mrs Ann Ngozi Ibe, Director, Special Duties, Mr James Afolayan and few other officers of the Scheme.
