Logun: We Lost Worthy Partner in Development of Kwara State–Third Estate

The Third Estate, an association of professionals and top public servants of Ilorin Emirate extraction, said with the death of Alhaji Adisa Aminu Logun, their association has lost a big brother, role model and worthy partner in the development of Kwara State.

Logun, the immediate past Chief of Staff (CoS) to Kwara State Governor, died on Tuesday, in Ilorin, after a brief illness.

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

In a condolence letter to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, President of Third Estate, Alh. Ahmed Bolaji Nagode, on behalf of the Executive Committee and entire members of the Estate, said the death of Alhaji Logun is indeed an irreparable loss, not only to the Kwara State Government, which he had served diligently within the last one year, but to the entire people of the state, whose well being and upliftment, remained the central theme of his actions and service to the state.

According to Nagode, the late Chief of Staff’s accomplishment as a successful industrialist and employer of labour, was a shining example of patriotic entrepreneurship and a source of inspiration to the younger generations.

“The selfless manner and dynamic manner in which the late Alhaji Logun served Your Excellency as the Chief of Staff will be remembered and has no doubt carved a golden place for him when the history of transformation of our dear state is written.

“It is our hope that your administration and subsequent administrations and indeed future generations will sustain the enviable legacies of the late Chief of Staff.

“May the Almighty Allah grant the gentle soul of Alhaji Logun aljanat firdaos and Your Excellency, the family and the good people of Kwara State the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the Third Estate boss noted.
