NYSC Confirms Resumption of Orientation Camps in November 2020
The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Shuaibu, has affirmed the statement of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare, on the resumption of orientation programme for prospective corps members.
Shuaibu, in a statement obtained by PRNigeria, said: “Sequel to the announcement by the Minister for Youth and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare on the resumption of orientation course, Management of the NYSC wishes to announce that the programme shall commence across the 37 Orientation Camps of the Scheme nationwide, on Tuesday, 10th November, 2020.”

He added that management urges all prospective corps members (PCMs) to adhere strictly to COVID -19 protocols while in camp, in order to have a hitch free orientation course.
It would be recalled that Dare had announced that the NYSC orientation programme is set to resume on November 10th, 2020.
The Youth and Sports Minister, made the announcement Thursday morning on his official Twitter handle, saying the full COVID-19 protocols would be strictly adhered to in the orientation camps across the nation.
“The resumption of the NYSC orientation camp for prospective youth corps members has been approved and opens on November 10, 2020. Full COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced,” Dare posted.
