A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Educational cooperation between Nigeria and the State of Palestine is to be signed soon.
Education Minister, Malam Adamu Adamu stated this today in his office in Abuja, when he received in audience, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Saleh AS’AD Saleh Fhied who paid a courtesy call on the Minister. When signed according to the Minister, the Memorandum of Understanding will help strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Minister also promised to ensure that students of the State of Palestine are given access to study in Nigeria Universities.
Earlier in his address to the Minister, Ambassador AS’AD appealed for Educational Support for Palestinian Students to enable them study in diverse fields in Nigerian universities.
Nigeria and Palestine are yet to have any Bilateral Agreement on Educational Cooperation.
