“The training is an opportunity for us to contribute to the capacity building of the Armed Forces, to further their skill-sets and to take that into the field, during any fight” the NNSBS training officer said.
The training, according to a senior army officer in Borno State, who declined giving his name, is coming at a time when the Armed Forces has been repositioned to work assiduously with each other, to mop up the Boko Haram Insurgency facing the Country as streams of repentant Boko Haram members have continued to surrender lately.
“The Theatre Command’s training mission and collaboration with the Nigerian Navy is one piece of a greater effort to achieve a shared operational objective in the Region,” he said.
