According to Sanusi, PRNigeria, a publication of the Image Merchants Promotions (IMPR) Limited, has remained steadfast in also offering sound mentorship to upcoming female journalists, in recent times.

She made this known when she led a delegation of the FCT NIPR Chapter’s exco to visit PRNigeria’s Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Mallam Yushau Shuaib, over the demise of his father, Imam Abdulhammed Agaka.

The prominent Islamic scholar and Chief Imam of Agaka community in Ilorin Emirate of Kwara State, who was aged 77, died at a health facility, early this month, after a brief illness.

Speaking at the Abuja Office of PRNigeria, Mrs. Sanusi, applauded the tremendous support the PRNigeria publisher gave to two of his female journalists, which enabled them to recently publish a book on Kogi State Governor, title: “Yahaya Bello: 47 Narratives on a Change Agent.”

“I want to commend you and your management team for the excellent work you people have been doing for upcoming journalists, writers and PR professionals. We, particularly, wish to express our delight for the support you have been rendering young but promising female staff at your IMPR.

“Hence, we are not really surprised that through your fatherly and professional mentorship, the duo of Nafisat Bello and Hafsat Ibrahim, recently authored a well-researched book on Governor Bello. Please keep up the good work you are doing for humanity. And you can be assured of our overwhelming support,” the NIPR Chairperson told Mall. Shuaib.

While offering her condolence, Sanusi, described late Imam Agaka as a devout Muslim, whose life positively impacted humanity.

“We are confident that his good deeds while on earth will attract Allah’s mercy as he journeys to eternity. We are encouraged by his life of love, prayer, teaching and dedication to the service of his Creator.

“While we pray Allah grant our late father Aljannah and grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the painful loss. Please, be assured of the Chapter’s prayer and support at this challenging time,” she said.

Mallam Yushau Shuaib expressed gratitude to the NIPR FCT Chapter for the visit.
