Babalola of Emporium Bags Human Rights Reports
The National Human Rights Commission NHRC, in conjunction with MacArthur foundation, has honoured a veteran journalist, Comrade Lukman Laleye Babalola, as Human Rights Reporter of the year, 2022.
The ceremony, which took place at the NAF conference centre on Saturday, 11th December, was in commemoration of this year’s International Human Rights Day.
Babalola, a seasoned journalist, prolific writer, and public affairs analyst, was recognized for his hard work and dedication to duty.He was honoured along with other reporters covering the commission, including men of Nigeria Police Force.

In his acceptance speech, the media guru, who is also the Publisher of Emporium Reporters online and International Magazine, appreciated the two prominent bodies for the award and recognition.

While acknowledging members of his online team, Emporium Reporters, Babalola dedicated the lifetime award to his late father, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Ladeji Ayinde Babalola and Step mother, Mama A.A Babalola, while he prayed for the repose of their souls.
