Katsina Police Nab Young Kidnappers for Abducting Small Girl in Kano

On the 10/01/2023 at about 1700hrs, based on credible intelligence, the command succeeded in bursting and arresting of one (1) Abdulrazak Ibrahim alias “Popular”, ‘m’, aged 19 years of Bachirawa quarters Kano state (2) Aliyu Salisu alias “Chilo”, ‘m’, aged 19 years old of Sabuwa Unguwa quarters, Katsina state and (3) Mohammed Ibrahim alias Zalamo’, ‘m’, aged 19 years old of Gidan Dawa quarters, Katsina state. Nemesis caught up with the syndicate when they kidnapped their victim one Fatima Abubakar, ‘F’, aged 6 years old of Bachirawa quarters, Kano state on 06/01/2023 at about 1100hrs whisked her to Katsina state and demanded for two million naira (N2,000,000.00) ransom.
Upon receipt of the information, immediately detectives swung into action. The suspect (Aliyu Salisu alias “Chilo”) was caught red handed in the process of receiving the ransom.
During the cause of investigation, the other members of the syndicate were also arrested and the victim rescued unhurt. Investigation is ongoing.
