APRA 2023 Conference: Zambia President Urges PR Practitioners to Project Good Image of Africa
President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA of Zambia has challenged Public Relations and Communication practitioners to project a good image of Africa.
President HICHILEMA says Africa has made many achievements among them, good governance and democracy which should be highlighted to the world.
President HICHILEMA said this in a speech read on his behalf by Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA during the 34th Conference of African Public Relations Association (APRA) conference.

And Information and Media Permanent Secretary KENNEDY KALUNGA said the hosting of the Africa Media Convention and the APRA conference is a demonstration of how Africa desires to transform the media and communication industry.
Meanwhile, Global Alliance for PR and Communication Management President and CEO JUSTIN GREEN praised Zambia and Africa for taking steps to use PR to ensure that Africa emerges economically.
And, African Public Relations Association President YOMI BADEJO – OKUSANYA urged the PR practitioners and communication specialist to maximize the unique opportunity they have to showcase Africa’s strength and potential.
Meanwhile, Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communications ZIPRC President IRENE CHIPILI said the hosting of the APRA conference gives Zambia an opportunity to showcase its potential in every sector of the economy
