The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Suleiman Abba CFR, NPOM, NPM, mni, heartily felicitates with Christian faithfuls across the nation as they join other Christians in the world to celebrate the joyous and glorious moment of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
While urging Christians to learn and adopt the full significance of the resurrection of Christ and to open their hearts to issues of peace, forgiveness and harmonious co-existence, he enjoined all Nigerians to emulate the principles of the Easter season and to celebrate within the ambit of the law.
The IGP enjoined Nigerians to respect the diversities of the nation. He also called on Nigerians for more cooperation with law enforcement and security agents as the country continues in the enthronement of democracy in the April 11th 2015 polls.
The Police High Command is positive that the multifarious strategies adopted by the Police Force on adequate security will ensure a hitch-free Easter celebrations. Members of the public are equally advised to avail the Nigeria Police with useful information that will effectively assist the police to track down criminal elements and to further expose persons with questionable character.
