Victims of Suicide Bombing Get Quick and Free Treatments

…Expresses condolences and sympathies to victims’ families
His Excellency Governor Ibrahim Gaidam has been briefed about two suicide bomb explosions in Damaturu early morning today in which six people were confirmed dead and 26 others injured.
Once again, His Excellency Governor Gaidam is heartbroken. Once again, he mourns with the families of victims of these callous, senseless and condemnable attacks.
At this time of so much sadness, therefore, His Excellency Governor Gaidam expresses his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of victims. He prays Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant repose to the souls of those who died and quick recovery to those who sustained injuries.
Already, the Governor has directed that injured victims be given quick and free treatment at the Sani Abatcha Specialist Hospital, where they have been taken for medical care.
And in line with the governor’s directive, Hospital and State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) officials are at this time doing everything necessary to provide the assistance and support that the victims need.
His Excellency Governor Gaidam urges people across Yobe State to continue in the traditions of vigilance, prayers and support to security agencies as they push on with their effort to rid our State of the unspeakable violence that has caused so much pain and death.
Signed
Abdullahi Bego
