The trio of Lance Corporal Kehinde Obareh, Lance Corporal Edith Agu and Private Caroline Linus of the Nigerian Army that are representing Nigeria in the Boxing event of the 11th All Africa Games have done the nation proud by winning Gold and Silver medals respectively.The Games is currently on-going at Brazaville,Congo Republic. The sporting event was held from 3-19th September 2015. The trio won the medals on Sun 13th September 2015.
It will be recalled that Nigerian Army boxing team has been consistently coming out tops in competitions. The team won laurels in the pre tournament event organised in Nigeria. Other Nigerian Army athletes are participating in other events of the All Africa Games. More laurels are expected to be won by them for the nation.
