Four Kidnappers meet their Waterloo in Rivers State

Rivers State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that on 20/11/2015 at about 3:30 pm, special tactical outfit set up by the Commissioner of Police to tackle the menace of kidnappings in the state had safely rescued Mrs. Lilian Davies, the Registrar of Ken  Saro Wiwa Polytechnic Bori, who was kidnapped on 17/11/2015 while on transit along Bori-Yaghe road. She was rescued at the bush around Kaani in Khana Local Government.
The rescue team during the operation has a fierce gun duel with the kidnappers resulting to the death of four kidnappers. One AK47 rifle, one locally made pistol, one magazine, 25 rounds of 7.62 live ammunition and five cartridges were recovered at the scene after the operation.
Criminal elements in the are advised to relocate from Rivers State as the police are determined more than before to take the onslaughts to their hideouts, please.
