Nigerian Troops Eliminate Bicycle Riding Terrorists
Troops of 22 Brigade Dikwa under 7 Division of Operation LAFIA DOLE in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force on Monday 7th August 2017, ambushed suspected members of Boko Haram terrorists between Bulabirin and Mongole villages of Dikwa Local Government Area in Borno State.
During an encounter, the troops neutralized 6 terrorists, while several others sustained various bullet wounds. Troops also recovered 6 Bicycles, 3 Dane guns and 1 Machete from the terrorists.
In another development, troops of 233 Battalion, 27 Task Force Brigade, Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Tuesday 8th August 2017, intercepted fleeing Boko Haram terrorists members, Kiri Imoru (left) and Tijjani Goni (right) at Sasawa village. The two terrorists claimed to escape from a hideout at Futchumaram, Geidam Local Government Area.
The Nigerian Army will sustain the clearance operation until unrepentant terrorists are eliminated from the shores of Nigeria.
