Python Dance: Military Commences Medical Outreach in Ebonyi

The General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar has in line with the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai’s directive, ordered for the commencement of provision of the first leg of free medical services to the people of Amaagu Local Community in Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The elaborately generous, one day exercise will start on Tuesday, 18 September, 2017 between 8 :00am to 5 :00pm, at the Adult Education Mass  Literacy  Centre, Nkwuagu primary School, Amaagu local community in Abakallki Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The medical outreach programme is part of the activities lined up for Exercise EGWU EKE 11, geared towards gaining the support and understanding of the locals to what the Exercise is all about. This will further consolidate on the existing cordial relationship between the Nigerian Army and the civil populace in the State.

A team of doctors, nurses and other medical attendants/staff from the 82 Division Medical Hospital and Services will be handy to provide immediate medical support and services in  dental, laboratory, optometry areas, blood pressure measurement, among others.

Similarly, free medicines, drugs, eye glasses and mosquito nets will be provided.

Also children of various ages will be given deworming tablets.

The Chief of Army Staff Nigerian Army is expected to flag off the Free Medical Outreach in the area indicated.
