Troops of Sector 6, 1 Division Nigerian Army Internal Security Force deployed at Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Saturday 28th October 2017 in conjunction with the Nigeria Police and vigilantes, raided and destroyed armed bandits and kidnappers hideout at a forest near Gobarawa Matari village, Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

On approach at the area, the armed bandits engaged the combined team with volley of fire and the troops responded and gunned down two of the bandits and arrested one of them, named Yusuf Wada. They also recovered 1 AK-47 rifle with registration number PT 4130 and 29 rounds of ammunition, as well as 1 Dane Gun, 1 Motorcycle, 3 Mobile telephone handsets and cash sum of N20,000.00k.
