Free Eye Surgery for 150 Patients
In continuation of her Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital, Kano, North West Nigeria, has put in place arrangements for free eye surgery for one hundred and fifty (150) patients which cut across all religious and ethnic dimensions.
In a statement issued and signed by the Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mudassar and made available to PRNigeria, the surgery would be preceded by screening for cataract on first com first serve basis at the hospital premises on Sunday June 24th, 2018 beginning from 8.00am to 2.00pm
“A free eye camp will be held on Sunday, 24th June 2018 at Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital Kano from 8am -2pm. 150 patients will be screened for cataract on first come first serve basis and will be given appointment for free surgeries”, the statement said in part.
Dr. Mudassar further said that “so far 784 patients have already been operated free of any cost, and called on well meaning Nigerians who have such cases to bring them up for screening and eventual surgery to restore sight to the down trodden in the society.
