Another Attack in Birnin-Gwari Kills Five Persons
Armed bandits have again struck in another community in Southern Birnin-Gwari local government area of Kaduna State, killing five people while seven others injured, three of them in critical condition.
The well-armed gunmen overran Kurigi Village in Kakangi Ward in Birnin-Gwari Local Government late Sunday evening and dead victims were buried on Monday afternoon.
The affected area is a border community to Zamfara state.

An aide to a National Assembly member representing Birnin-Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency, Ibrahim said “The Armed bandits killed four people at once while the fifth person died on the way to Birnin-Gwari General Hospital.”
The Birnin-Gwari Vanguards for Security and Good Governance wishes to further draw the attention of the federal government on the need to deploy more security forces to Birnin-Gwari to prevent the influx of armed bandits escaping military onslaught in Zamfara state to the area.
