NMA Hails FG on Patient Bill of Rights
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has commended the Federal Ministry of Health under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, for championing the launch of the Patient Bill of Rights.

The Secretary General, NMA, Dr. Olumuyiwa P. Odusote gave this commendation on behalf of the Association during her just concluded National Executive Council Meeting held recently, in Abuja.

According to Dr. Odusote, the implementation of the Rights would improve Patient – Centred – Care in healthcare facilities across the country. The objective of the Patients’ Bill of Rights is to provide adequate health care, access to clean, safe and secure healthcare environment as well as access to equitable quality care and caregivers irrespective of the patient’s status.
