While handing over the project to the Executive Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam in Damaturu, the Minister disclosed that it is expected to address the devastating effects of flooding and erosion, as well as minimise threats to lives and properties within Damaturu township and adjoining communities.
