Tozali TV Debuts on Startimes for Northern States

Subscribers to Nigeria’s leading pay TV – Startimes are now from experiencing Tozali TV, a lifestyle TV with rich cultural entertainment content in Hausa and English.

Joshua Wang, Managing Director of Startimes, disclosed this at the signing of agreement with Tozali TV Limited, at the Startimes headquarters in Abuja, on Monday, that subscribers in the 19 northern states, especially, are in for a “thrilling experience” with the coming on board of Tozali TV on Channel 183.

Mr Wang said while Tozali TV made its debut on Startimes in March, 2019, mainly for Abuja subscribers, but six months after, the “channel appears to have moved swiftly in animating its audiences due to its unique content”, a situation, he added, that makes it inevitable for the channel to broaden its reach across the northern region.

Hajiya Maimuna Yahaya Abubakar, Managing Director of Tozali TV, described her company’s partnership with the Startimes network as a milestone, in the bid to showcase northern Nigeria’s social culture in all its ramifications.

“We are indeed proud of this moment in history, when we are able to project Arewa’s rich repertoire of cultural entertainment, events, places, and its diverse people, to the world through Startimes, indeed Nigeria’s largest Digital Terrestrial Television signal distributor”, said Hajiya Maimuna, who added that Tozali TV is an off-shoot of the highly successful Tozali Lifestyle magazine which has consistently been in publication in the last 10 years.
