The South Eastern Zone Chapter of MACBAN, in a letter to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, E Department, Force Headquarters, said the attacks have resulted in many casualties, both in terms of the Fulani herdsmen killed and their rustled cattle.

“The lives of members of Miyetti Allah cattle breaders association of Nigeria are in danger in any part of these concerned communities already stated above and we therefore ask for your urgent interventions to forestall further loss of lives and properties,” it said.

According to Mr. Gidado Siddiki, Chairman of MACBAN South East Zone, 30 of their fellow Fulani herders and 322 cattle are missing.
