Lux Terra Trains NYSC Members on Nation Building
In the quest for a better Nigeria and to promote Citizenship, Conflict Prevention and Nation Building, the Network and Advocacy Group of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, with support from OSIWA, held the third in a series of training programmes for NYSC members on Thursday the 22nd of April, 2021.
The corps members were trained on Citizens Rights and Civic Responsibility, Understanding, Preventing and Managing Conflict, Promoting Social Justice and Managing Diversity.
There was also an unscheduled visit by the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim DSS Ph.D MTRCN, which left a great impression on the corps members and everyone present.

The DG was visibly excited with the training, saying the unity of Nigeria cannot be trivialised, regardless of the challenges we currently face. He further urged the corps members to contribute to the quest for nation building, emphasizing that among them are future presidents and leaders of Nigeria.
He encouraged the 36 corps members who took part in the training programme to develop skills that will be useful to their various communities during and after their mandatory service year.
The DG commended the Network and Advocacy Group of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation and OSIWA for this initiative to train young people on the important subject of Nation Building.
This is one in a series of interventions by the Network and Advocacy Group of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, towards enhancing and advocating for National Integration, Social Justice, Inclusion, Managing Diversity, Civic Rights and Responsibilities, and Conflict Prevention and Management in Nigeria today.
