Zulum’s Spokesperson, Isa Gusau is Dead
Mallam Isa Gusau, the spokesman for Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has passed on.
A multi-award winning communication strategist, he was the winner of Social Media Category of the annual Spokesperson Communication Awards (SCA) 2023 which was hosted by Image Merchant Promotion Ltd (IMPR)

Gusau, who was also the spokesman for the present Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, when he was the governor of Borno State, had been on admission at an Indian hospital for over a month.
He took the final bow on Thursday in a specialist hospital in New Delhi after a brief illness.
Gusau was actively involved in the publicity for the governor right from his sick bed in India, issuing statements to promote his boss.
He was a former reporter with the Daily Trust Newspapers in Borno State before his appointment as media aide by former Governor Shettima.
