Arewa Consultative Forum Felicitates Gov Yusuf, Urges Him to Shun Vengeance
The Arewa Consultative Forum, Kano State Chapter has hailed the Supreme Court verdict affirming Abba Kabir Yusuf as the duly elected Governor of Kano State.
The information was contained in a statement made available to PRNigeria by the Chairman of the Forum, Goni Dr. Farouk Umar.
According to him, the verdict should serve as a signal for the entire populace to support the administration as it steers towards implementing development programmes.
He added that the support must be total and unflinching, and it should be extended by all and sundry including politicians who vied for the same office and other stakeholders.

He appealed to the governor to be magnanimous in victory and shun bitterness and vengeance, adding that the establishment of a Kano Elders Council whose membership consisted of the three main political leaders in the state was a manifestation of Governor Yusuf’s large heartedness.
The ACF leader observed that from time immemorial, history had been replete with world leaders winning more admirers and followers through large heartedness than through vengeance.
PRNigeria recalls that prior to the 2023 general elections, Kano ACF successfully undertook dialogue sessions featuring the Presidential, Gubernatorial, and National and State Assembly aspirants who utilized the platforms to enlighten the electorate on their various party manifestos and programmes.
