Impactful Communications: CGC Adeniyi Bags Certificate of Excellence at SABRE Awards Africa 2024

The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Adeniyi, has received a certificate of excellence for his first 100 days of impactful public relations at the just concluded 2024 SABRE African Public Relations Association (APRA) Award and annual conference held at Côte d’Ivoire from May 13- 18, 2024.

According to Chief Superintendent of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, the spokesman of the service who also attended the conference noted that securing SABRE recognition speaks volumes to the winners’ highest level of creativity, integrity and effectiveness in both public relations and governance, as it is the largest continental awards competition for the public relations industry in Africa.

The CGC added, “I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Image Marchants – those behind the PR exploits in Nigeria. Of course, it has been four days of networking, meeting with people, and positive public relations – and I am optimistic that APRA will continue to wax stronger.”

The Comptroller-General of Customs is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and an active member of the African Public Relations Association (APRA).
