    NIS, NCS, NCoS Sustain Inter-Agency Collaboration to Strengthen Security in Katsina

    The Comptroller of Immigration Service for Katsina State, CIS Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud, hosted separate visits from the newly appointed Area Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service, Katsina Area Command, Comptroller I Abba-Aji, and the Comptroller of the Nigeria Correctional Service, Katsina State Command, CC Ahmad Abdu Usman.

    During the meetings, the comptrollers unanimously agreed on the importance of effective collaboration among security agencies to improve the security situation in the state. Key discussion points included intelligence sharing to combat emerging security threats.

    The visiting comptrollers expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to them by CIS Adamu Mahmoud. The events included an inspection of the quarter guard mounted in their honor, plaque presentations, the signing of the visitors’ book, and tours of the facilities.

    In his response, CIS Mohammed Adamu Mahmoud emphasized the importance of continuous support and cooperation among agencies to bolster national security, economic growth, and development in Katsina State.
