Skit Maker Danbello Transforms Dilapidated Classroom in Just 12 Days
A popular skitmaker and Social media sensation Bello Galadanchi Habeeb, widely known as Dan Bello, has successfully renovated a dilapidated primary classroom into a modern learning environment in just 12 days.
Dan Bello highlighted the dire condition of many government primary school classrooms in Northern Nigeria, stating that his initiative was aimed at providing a conducive learning space for students—a privilege he cherished during his own education.
In a video in Hausa shared on his social media, he revealed that the renovation project cost N4.1 million.
Translated to English by PRNigeria, he said: “Many classrooms in government primary schools across Northern Nigeria are in disrepair, but we have transformed this one to ensure that Nigerian children can study safely, just as we did when we were kids. That is why we invested N4.1 million,” he explained.

Dan Bello emphasized the critical situation facing over 50,000 government primary schools in the region, where hazardous classrooms pose health risks. He noted that the renovated classroom had a leaky roof that left students susceptible to pneumonia, fever, and fungal infections.
“We have provided each child with a personal desk, chair, locker, and storage for books. Additionally, we installed four ceiling fans, six notice boards, and comfortable seating for teachers,” he added.
Before commencing the renovation, his project manager and supervisor conducted a thorough assessment of the classroom, identifying issues such as a leaky roof, broken floors, peeling paint, and an open ceiling.
Dan Bello further stated, “We addressed these problems, starting with the roof and walls. Every Nigerian child deserves quality primary education, regardless of state, region, religion, or tribe.”
He expressed his gratitude for the project’s success, extending special thanks to his project manager, Ibrahim Salisu Nasir, and project supervisor, Adam Sulaiman of Freedom Radio, for their contributions to this swift transformation completed in just 12 days.
