SAEMA 2024: Security Stakeholders Hails IMPR’s Transparency, Rededicate to National Duty

Stakeholders have hailed Security and Emergency Management Awards and Conference (SAEMA) as a credible platform for recognizing and encouraging outstanding contributions to national security and emergency management.

Awardees at the 6th edition of SAEMA 2024 praised the event’s organizers, Image Merchants Promotion Limited (IMPR), for their meticulous and transparent selection process, which they said underscores the credibility of the recognition.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mallam Idris Malagi, who was the Chairman at the occasion commended IMPR for leveraging platforms like PRNigeria and Emergency Digest to promote national security, integrity, and raise awareness on security consciousness across the country.

Represented by the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mallam Jibrin Ndace, the Minister highlighted that SAEMA stands as the largest award program in Nigeria dedicated to recognizing excellence in security and emergency management. He urged the organizers to maintain the momentum and continue the annual tradition of celebrating outstanding contributions in these critical sectors.

Speaking on behalf of the award recipient in Abuja, Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC) Attah John Onoja of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) expressed gratitude for being deemed deserving of the prestigious honor.

Onoja, who received the Outstanding Security Officer award, highlighted that the recognition reflects the acknowledgement of their patriotic service to Nigeria.

“For us to be honored at this memorable event, it shows that credibility, transparency, and merit still prevail over prejudice in the conduct of the SAEMA awards,” he said. Onoja further noted that the awards would serve as a catalyst for greater professionalism, dedication, and passion in their future service to the nation.
