Uba Sani Foundation Brings Smiles to Orphanages, Hospitals on Founder’s Birthday
The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Uba Sani, celebrated his 54th birthday by making substantial donations of food and essential commodities worth millions of Naira to orphanages throughout Kaduna.
In a generous gesture, the governor also provided cash donations to hundreds of patients at four major public hospitals in Kaduna metropolis, aiming to alleviate their medical expenses.
Governor Sani distributed these gifts through the Uba Sani Foundation, emphasizing that the initiative was his way of expressing gratitude to Allah for the countless blessings he has received over the past 54 years.
“The well-being of orphans is dear to my heart. I hope this gesture brings smiles to their faces and ensures they celebrate the New Year with joy, just like everyone else,” said Governor Sani.
He extended prayers to the patients for their full recovery and urged them to use the financial assistance for its intended purpose.

Mallam Ibrahim Dan Halilu, the Executive Director of the Uba Sani Foundation, who presented the donations, explained that the outreach was organized to commemorate the governor’s 54th birthday, which took place on December 31, 2024. He highlighted that the Foundation has been providing assistance to orphans and the sick since its inception in 2018.
Halilu expressed gratitude to the governor for making the necessary funds available for this outreach, which benefited six orphanage homes and four hospitals in Kaduna metropolis and surrounding areas.
Distributed items included parboiled rice, spaghetti, cooking oil, seasoning cubes, pomade, soap, and sanitary pads.
Beneficiary organizations included the Umm Aytam Marayu Foundation, Unguwar Dosa Al-Ihsan Orphanage in Nassarawa, Adonai Orphans and Widows Home in Kakuri, Naphtali Orphanage Home in Gonin Gora, Al-Hayat Foundation, Madrasah Rigachikun, and the Kano Road Rehabilitation Centre.
The hospitals receiving support included Barau Teaching Hospital, Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital in Tudun Wada, Kawo General Hospital, and Rigasa General Hospital.
Beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the governor for his generosity, praying for his longevity and good health to continue his philanthropic endeavors. They also prayed for a successful tenure and divine protection for the governor.
Over the course of the two-day outreach, orphans sang “Happy Birthday” to the governor, while patients at the four hospitals offered prayers of thanks for the financial assistance they received.
