Police said they confessed to being members of the Neo Black Movement (NBM) and admitted involvement in cult-related activities on campus. One suspect, Abdulsemiu Bashir, was found with 16 SIM cards, a POS machine, and ₦77,000 believed to be proceeds from stolen phones.

In a separate operation, four suspects were arrested after a robbery attack in Suleja on September 6. Those arrested include Umar Abubakar (24), Ibrahim Lawali (18), Sirajo Musa (25), and Adamu Lawal (25), with some stolen items recovered.

The Police Command said all suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
