U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Israel on Monday for high-level engagements aimed at consolidating the recently brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and advancing long-term peace in the Middle East.

During his visit, Trump is expected to meet with families of hostages and address lawmakers at the Knesset before departing for Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, where he and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sissi will co-chair a regional peace summit later in the day.
