Kano Police Deploys Additional Operatives to Secure Communities, Schools
The Kano State Police Command has launched proactive security measures to safeguard communities and schools across the state.
Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, convened a strategic meeting with operational commanders on Wednesday, 26th November 2025, to strengthen security arrangements and plan the deployment of additional personnel to border local government areas for enhanced surveillance and intelligence gathering.

Following the meeting, the deployment was implemented on Thursday, 27th November, as part of the Command’s efforts to ensure the safety of lives and property in Kano State. CP Bakori described the initiative as a demonstration of the Command’s unwavering commitment to preventing criminal activities and protecting citizens.

In a statement, the Kano State Police Command reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining peace and order and expressed appreciation for the public’s continued cooperation in providing timely and actionable information. “Together, we can continue to build a safe and secure Kano State,” the statement concluded.
