Finally, NAF C-130 Aircraft Arrives Safely in Portugal for Maintenance
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed that one of its C-130 transport aircraft has arrived safely in Portugal for scheduled depot maintenance.
In a statement issued on Friday, the NAF said the aircraft, with registration number NAF 913, landed at the OGMA maintenance facility in Lisbon on December 26, 2025, after a successful ferry flight.
The aircraft transited through Banjul and Casablanca in line with an updated flight plan and established aviation safety procedures.

According to the Air Force, the flight was completed without incident, marking the final phase of the aircraft’s movement for its planned maintenance programme. All crew members arrived safely and were reported to be in high spirits.
The NAF expressed appreciation to host authorities for their cooperation and support throughout the transit, while reiterating its unwavering commitment to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational accountability.
