“Several terrorists were eliminated during the strike,” a source stated.
The sources further disclosed that two key Boko Haram commanders operating in the Bulabulin axis were among those neutralised. They were identified as Karma Wakil, the commander overseeing operations in the general area, and his deputy, Wali Matari.
The operation forms part of sustained aerial offensives by the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI aimed at degrading terrorist leadership, disrupting logistics networks, and denying insurgents freedom of movement across the North-East theatre of operations.
Post-strike surveillance and intelligence exploitation are ongoing to determine the full extent of the damage inflicted on the terrorist network.
