Military sources disclosed that troops of Sector 2 Mobile Intervention Battalion (MIB), working in collaboration with local hunters, arrested a suspected terrorist informant identified as Alhaji Ibrahim, 42, in Damaturu Local Government Area.
The suspect was apprehended at about 3:05 p.m. on May 25 following intelligence reports linking him to alleged communication and collaboration with Boko Haram/ISWAP elements.
According to the sources, Ibrahim is a member of a local vigilante group attached to Government Girls Unity College (GGUC), Damaturu, and hails from Ahajiri village in Maisandari Ward of the local government area.
