The decision was ratified during the 101st Regular Meeting of the Governing Council, held on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, 2026, after the Council considered favourable external assessment reports on the candidates’ scholarly publications and academic contributions.
According to a statement issued by the Acting Director of Information and University Relations, Dr. Habib Yakoob, the newly promoted academics were drawn from diverse disciplines, reflecting the university’s commitment to excellence across all fields of study.
