BUA Chairman Donates N2bn to Maiduguri Flood Victims
Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, has announced a donation of N2 billion to support flood victims in Maiduguri and Jere, Borno State.
Representing the chairman, the group’s Executive Director, Kabiru Rabiu, made the announcement during a sympathy visit to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum in Maiduguri. He stated that the donation includes N1 billion in cash and N1 billion worth of food items.

“Your Excellency, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu has sent a token of N1 billion in cash and N1 billion in food items. In addition to that, he is donating five trucks of 900 bags of rice, five trucks of 900 bags of flour, and five trucks of 4,500 cartons of spaghetti,” said Kabiru Rabiu.
He added, “Your Excellency, a lot of properties and lives have been lost to this disaster. We pray to God to have mercy on those who lost their lives and grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss.”
In response, Governor Zulum expressed his appreciation to the business mogul for his support during this challenging time, highlighting the significance of the generous donation in alleviating the impact of the disaster.
