Represented by Dr. Sule Yau Sule, a council member and Fellow of the Institute, Dr. Neliaku expressed deep sorrow at the passing of the governor’s beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam A. Namadi, who lived a remarkable life of 90 years. He remarked on her ability to raise exemplary children, which stands as a testament to her unwavering strength, dedication, and lasting legacy. Her influence on the governor has undoubtedly shaped his distinguished service to the nation.

Additionally, Dr. Neliaku lamented the sudden and tragic passing of the governor’s first son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi, in a road accident. “Losing such a promising and vibrant life is an immeasurable loss, not only to your family but also to Jigawa State and the nation at large,” he said.

“Your Excellency, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We stand in solidarity with you in your grief and pray for the strength of your family and all those impacted by these devastating losses.”

Dr. Neliaku concluded with a prayer for divine comfort for the governor and his family, urging them to find the fortitude to endure this challenging period. “Please accept the assurances of our highest regards and heartfelt sympathy,” he added.
