The Governor also praised the synergy between the Katsina Community Watch Corps and the Nigerian Army, describing the partnership as a model of effective civil-military cooperation that should be deepened to defeat criminal elements.

Responding, Lt-Gen Oluyede thanked Governor Radda for the visit and the state’s continued support for military operations. He pledged that the Army would sustain its operational momentum and make the necessary sacrifices to ensure lasting peace in Katsina and the wider North-West region.

“The Nigerian Army remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting law-abiding citizens, defending communities, and creating a secure environment for development,” the COAS said.
