Campus Journalism Award, CTLI Partner to Boost Digital Journalism

The Campus Technology Life Initiative (CTLI) has officially announced a strategic partnership with the Campus Journalism Awards & Dialogue (CJA) to promote innovation, technology integration, and digital awareness among student journalists across Nigeria and beyond.

The collaboration aims to empower the next generation of storytellers by equipping them with the digital skills necessary to thrive in the modern media landscape.

The National Coordinator of CTLI, Amb. Kalu Chijioke Jnr, expressed optimism about the venture, emphasizing the critical role of technology in journalism. “The role of technology and awareness in journalistic approaches cannot be overemphasized,” he said, noting that the partnership will be pivotal in raising digital journalism consciousness and fostering creativity among young reporters.

In recognition of the partnership, the Chief Executive Officer of CJA, Mr. Gidado Yushau Shuaib has invited CTLI to participate in its annual Early Morning Workshop for campus journalists, as well as the Grand Award Ceremony scheduled to hold at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

Both organizations share a unified vision to empower innovators who will leverage technology to amplify authentic voices. Amb. Chijioke concluded, “At CTLI, we believe that through innovation and resourcefulness, we can develop a digital framework that promotes dialogue amongst young persons—not only in Nigeria but across the globe.”
